When I am chosen by a couple to photograph their day, they are choosing to put their trust in me. Trust that I’ll be there, that I’ll capture it. And with that trust comes this wonderful freedom that makes every wedding an adventure and I end up taking some of my most favourite images. Meg + Andy were up for anything when they got married at the gorgeous Keeyuga Woolshed in Glenaroua. They hiked up hill upon hill during their portrait session because the light and wind and clouds were doing amazing things. They let me set off stinky coloured smoke flares around them at twilight.

They just let me do my thing.

They trusted and embraced the fact that I got excited by the landscape, by the light and rolled with my ridiculous enthusiasm. And quickly this became one of my most favourite weddings.

So as a little piece of advice to all you couples out there about to pick your vendors. If you love what they do and who they are, just know they will be there on the day, full steam ahead and ready to give it their all.

Scroll to the end of the post for details about all the awesome vendors who were involved in the day.
