For 5 years I lived on Laurens St in North Melbourne. An ear piercingly loud, dusty, trucking road that housed more factories than people. And I called it home. This industrial street where nothing really happened except for the production of cattle feed and the incessant squealing of truck brakes from 4am also saw the beginning of an amazing venue, Laurens Hall.

The original Railway Printing works factory became the incredible centrepiece to Edwina + Aaron’s beautifully styled wedding. Funnily enough, their wedding fell the day after I moved out from Laurens Street. Traipsing this grand old crazy, loud industrial street with my cameras in tow was the sweetest parting gift.
